Japanese Festival Lights Up January

Japanese Festival Lights Up January:

While the weather outside was dreary and gray, the mood and colors inside Milton School were festive and brilliant at the 16th annual Japan Festival last month.

While the weather outside was dreary and gray, the mood and colors inside Milton School were festive and brilliant at the 16th annual Japan Festival last month. A celebration reserved just for the third grade, students listened to a performance on a stringed instrument called a shan-sin; played with Japanese toys and games; dressed in traditional garb; and indulged in some classic cuisine.

Obis off to third-grade teacher Jeannette Hughes and Milton parent volunteers.
