Linda Jane Martin Lizotte passed away peacefully on June 30, 2020 at the age of 57 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Born in Rye, N.Y. on April 26, 1963, she was the daughter of Robert J. and Marie C. Martin. After graduating from Rye High School in 1981, she attended the University of Florida from which she obtained a registered dietician license.

With the goal of helping individuals lead healthier lifestyles, she opened a private nutritional practice. A pioneer in her discipline, she helped shape the modern functional medicine and holistic wellness field.

She co-founded Designs for Health, a multi-national nutritional supplement company, and worked tirelessly to create superior formulas.

Using her knowledge of biochemistry, she went on to found AMG Naturally, creating her own line of natural skincare products that were safe for both consumers and the environment.

Linda Lizotte was proud of her career path, but prouder still of her family and friends. Her children and grandson adored her, and she loved them with all her heart.

“Linda was successful, vivacious, compassionate, loyal, and made friends easily,” said her family. She enjoyed spending time on the beach, singing karaoke, and playing piano. She was the brightest light in any room and possessed a welcoming and generous spirit. Everyone she met became family to her.”

She is survived by her children, Marty and his wife Lital, Stella and her fiancé Trevor, and Meghan; her parents, Robert and Marie Martin; her siblings: Mary Martin, Sharon (John) Borchert, Bob (Nancy) Martin, John (Tracy) Martin, Dawn Martin and her fiancé Tony, Joe Martin and his life partner Aga. She was recently blessed with her first grandchild, Benjamin Lizotte.

A private funeral and Mass of Christian Burial will take place on July 10 at the Church of Resurrection in Rye. Donations in Linda Lizotte’s memory may be made to The Guiding Star Project (guidingstarproject.com).
