7/1 Use of leaf blowers reported, Beary Court, 8:48 a.m. No leaf blowers in operation observed or heard, 8:55 a.m. 

 

6/30 Caller reported noise coming from soccer field behind tennis courts, Disbrow Park, 9:40 p.m. Youths scattered into swamp area behind field.

 

6/30 Swiss Cheese local law. Ban it or can it? Leaf blowers in use, Grace Church Street, 11:58 a.m. Spoke with landscaping foreman, company new to area. Informed of leaf blower ordinance. Issued verbal warning.

 

6/30 Grounded. Walk-in lost her birth certificate, passport.

 

6/30 Assist citizen. Caller stated her dog Sparky ran away. Canvassed Rye Beach to Adelaide Street. Sparky nowhere to be found. Officers remained in area to look.

 

6/30 Sick raccoon reported, BPR. Animal terminated, DPW on scene.

 

6/30 Complainant reported illegally parked vehicle, Rye Beach Avenue. Summons issued.

 

6/30 Suspicious vehicle, Windcrest Road, 2:42 a.m. Unoccupied vehicle with front end damage parked at loop.

 

6/29 Loud party inside Marriott, hotel wanted them to leave premise. Unwanted guests in Room 127 asked to leave. They did so peacefully.

 

6/29 Annoyingly good answer. Caller stated large group of kids were walking down North Street towards Theodore Fremd Avenue, causing traffic issue, 7:40 p.m. Teens stated they were only walking in street because there was no sidewalk in that area of North Street.

 

6/29 Weed it and weep. Leaf Blower reported, Central Avenue, 3 p.m. Officers only observed weed whacker in operation, no leaf blowers. 

 

6/29 Group of kids reported stopping traffic, doing wheelies in middle of roadway, Purchase/Ridge streets. Negative results on search. 

 

6/29 Caller stated unknown party opened cell phone account in her name.

 

6/28 Curb appeal. Female complainant stated Fraydun Place neighbors blocked road to vehicle traffic with belongings. Spoke to residents. They complied and removed all furniture from roadway.

 

6/28 Apawamis Avenue caller stated she would like to file report about youths walking through her property overnight.

 

6/28 Stopped vessel for making wake in no-wake zone. Boarded, found no sound-producing device, no distress flag. Summons issued.

 

6/27 Cable guy. Newberry Place caller stated racoon had entered her home through open door, was hiding behind TV. Removed.

 

6/27 Construction before 10 a.m. reported: Red Oak Drive, Lindbergh Avenue, Holly Lane, Bennett Street.

 

6/27 Wish granted. Loud party reported, Orchard Avenue, 1:20 a.m. Spoke to resident, adult birthday party on back porch, agreed to bring inside.

 

6/26 Warning issued for bow-riding in Milton Harbor, 9:34 p.m.

 

6/26 Four summonses issued for illegally parked vehicles, Rye Beach Avenue/Old Rye Beach Avenue

 

6/25 Skeg party. Resident reported his boat was struck, damaged by another boat on 6/24, breaking about an inch off bottom of his skeg. Video showed the boat appeared to have been struck by vessel from Carefree Boat club. Further investigation showed boat involved did have new scratch on port side near stern. Resident stated he would work it out with boat club.
