On the Right Path

For his Eagle Scout project, Rye High School senior James LaMagna set his sights on clearing and improving a walking trail along Blind Brook in Disbrow Park. He created and submitted a plan, and in July, with help from 30 Boy Scout volunteers, began beautifying the 400-foot-long trail.

Last week, La Magna, who will join Scouting’s highest rank, walked the site with City officials and his proud father, Richard LaMagna.
