5/27 Caller stated he heard four gunshots in Marshlands/BPR area, 10:29 p.m. Canvassed area, negative results.

 

5/27 Party was having trouble with Vincent’s Towing regarding his broken-down 2001 Honda Civic. State Police handled situation. Driver had no money for tow. Vehicle was dropped off at Playland Access Drive.

 

5/27 Caller reported illegally parked vehicles, Forest/Oakland Beach avenues, 6:32 p.m. One summons issued.

 

5/27 All in the Family. Harbor Lane complainant stated social distancing issue occurring. Observed family unit playing in their pool, complying with government order.

 

5/27 Spiked. City Code Violation, group playing volleyball at Rye Rec, 4:54 p.m. Advised of government order.

 

5/27 Ahh. Caller reported a baby deer at end of Pondview Road. He thought it may have been abandoned by its mother. Deer appeared to be healthy; recommended it not be moved and allowed to reunite with mother.

 

5/27 Leaf blower reported, Natoma Street/Wappanocca Avenue, 3 p.m. Canvassed area multiple times, no violation observed, 3:06 p.m.

 

5/27 Naval maneuvers. Port Chester Harbor, small tree obstructing channel. Moved aside.

 

5/27 See cruise. Observed vehicle drag racing in Marina parking lot, Milton Road, 9:54 p.m. Warning issued.

 

5/26 Box truck stuck under Purchase Street bridge. Drive attempted to make U-turn due to truck height, but power steering failed. Vincent’s Tow declared vehicle could be driven safely from scene. RFD dispatched to remove fluid spill.

 

5/26 Catch-of-the-day. Fishermen trespassing on Waters Edge property were escorted away.

 

5/26 Fast break. Disorderly conduct. Large group reported playing basketball, disturbing Rye Manor residents, 6:15 p.m. GOA.

 

5/26 Assisted County PD with unconscious party on 35-foot scaffolding, Greenhaven Beach.

 

5/25 Caller stated there was loud construction going on, Eve Lane, 2:32 p.m. Parties advised to shut it down.

 

5/25 Bet that went well. Vessel boarding. Stopped for causing wake in Milton Harbor no-wake zone. Escorted vessel back to dock, issued warning for underage operator, also for no throwable PFD. Turned over to his father.

 

5/25 Park Avenue caller stated his neighbors’ children were making unnecessary noise riding dirt bikes in area, 1:11 p.m. Riders were within property line.

 

5/25 Patrons dining outside First Street business, 12:34 p.m. Warning issued.

 

5/25 Off-road. White Jeep was overheating on Roosevelt Avenue, 4:35 a.m. Operator told to park it, come back in morning to fix it.

 

5/25 Nothing unusual? Kids observed in Rye Town Park, 1:30 a.m. Four locals out for a walk. Were asked to leave. Agreed.

 

5/25 Loud party, Mead Pond Lane, 12:14 a.m. Small gathering of four. Asked to bring group inside.

 

5/24 Walk-up party reported she found wedding band in Station Plaza.

 

5/24 Caller stated white male, approximately 6-feet tall, brown hair wearing green shirt/purple sweater tied around his waist came onto his Apawamis Avenue property, caused damage before leaving scene. Party also was punching vehicles as they passed on Midland Avenue, 7:18 p.m. Suspect was located, identified. Caller did not want to press charges; officer did not observe any unlawful behavior. Suspect was given courtesy ride to Rye/Port Chester border.

 

5/24 Illegally parked vehicles, Redfield Street/Rye Beach Avenue, 2:41 p.m. Summonses issued.

 

 

5/24 Vessel in distress, Milton Harbor. Operator stated both his propellers fell off. Towed to slip in Rye City Marina.

 

5/24 Caller stated there was construction, use of pressure washer on Sunday at Sunset Road home. Homeowner washing his house.

 

5/24 Stuffed. Volleyball game in progress, Rye Town Park, 12:21 p.m. Shut down.

 

5/24 Three locals in Rye Town Park, 1:15 a.m. Information gathered for youth referrals.

 

5/23 K-nein. Party wished to file complaint against a dog that attacked his dog while he was out walking him near his Orchard Drive home.

 

5/23 Citibank employee reported male trying to use fake i.d.

 

5/23 City Code violation, 6:56 a.m., Marlene Court. Construction prior to 10 a.m. Informed homeowner of City Code, warning issued.

 

5/23 Pedestrian reported coyote in middle of road, Hewlett Avenue/Milton Road, 6:56 a.m.

 

5/23 Assisted Rye Brook PD with canvassing for vehicle larceny suspects described as two males with hoodies/backpacks, 5:47 a.m. RBPD located backpack left behind. Suspects not found.

 

5/22 WCPD requested assistance in checking Playland parking lot for white SUV, orange Dodge Charger with kids riding on top.

 

5/22 Youths reported playing basketball at Resurrection. Asked to vacate private property.

 

5/22 Caller stated someone was dumping in Edith Read Sanctuary.

 

5/22 Keeping it in pocket/purse? La Salle Avenue caller reported his wife’s garage door openers were stolen twice over two-week period.

 

5/21 Group of youths reported stopping traffic, performing bicycle tricks in roadway, Lea Place/Midland Avenue. Spoke to group regarding being conscious of surroundings when riding their bikes.

 

5/21 Parkway Drive caller reported his 2019 Toyota RAV-4 was stolen overnight.

 

5/21 Coulda sworn it was… Leaf blowers reported, Milton Road/Playland Parkway, 11:33 a.m. Was asphalt truck spray-coating driveway.
