9/19: Vehicle parked and abandoned at Wappanocca Avenue/ Highland Road with several summonses. Towed.


9/19: Minor motor vehicle accident (MVA) reported at Rye Country Day School, no injuries. Officer spoke with one driver involved. Driver of second vehicle left scene, stated she had to drop off kids she had picked up at school. Staff had her information. She was advised to report to RPD-HQ to complete accident report.


9/19: 11 p.m. Marriott manager reported vehicle in rear of parking lot with window smashed. No record of vehicle owners kept, no cameras. Unable to contact owner.


9/20: Bingo! 8:01 a.m. Marriott guest reported vehicle broken into in early morning hours. Parked Avis rental Nissan in lot in evening, when he returned in morning passenger-side window was smashed, $6 gone.


9/20: Report of fallen tree branch on vehicle in Car Park 2, spot #96. Vehicle unoccupied.


9/20: Contagious. Chester Drive caller stated that neighbor’s tree fell damaging her car.

9/21: Ridgewood Drive caller reported City garbage truck took down wire I.F.O. his house. Officer found low-hanging power line blocking roadway. Complainant had already called tree service company. Con Ed notified to get out quickly to repair.


9/21: Loud party reported on Brookdale Place. Youths on trampoline. Parents home.


9/22: Taxi dispute, driver and his fare, 3 a.m. at Purdy Avenue and Purchase Street. Driver paid, was escorted to Port Chester line to continue journey.


9/22: Drake Avenue/Glen Oaks Drive caller reported contractor dumping paint in storm drain.


9/22: Caller reported white Range Rover with flat tire parked for at least two months at Elizabeth/Purchase streets. Tire marked for later review of violation.


9/22: Taking pit-y. Island Drive resident reported following a wayward pit-bull on street. Cars 12/16 dispatched. Removed animal from rear of Grace Church Street home.


9/22: Graham Court caller reported loud party on Clinton Avenue at 11 p.m. Cars 11/12 sent. Complainant advised loud party to be shutdown.

9/23: Amazing grace. Caller reported being bitten by dog in church parking lot. Owner located and advised.


9/23: Report of boat striking rocks off Playland Pier. One occupant swam to safety.


9/23: Report of unleashed pitbull in Gagliardo Park. Issue resolved.


9/24: Caller reported Rye Hospital patient ran away, rang her doorbell 2-3 times at 3 a.m. Newburgh resident left hospital prior to admission, transported to White Plains Hospital.


9/24: Report of loose brown lab in Van Wagenen/Stuyvesant avenues area. Dog later located by two Rye Brook residents and kept at third party’s home for pickup by owner.


9/24: Armed and Forgetful. Report of firearm found by Marriott housekeeper.


9/24: Armed and Dangerous. Man wanted in connection with homicide by firearm in Rockland County. Gray hair, gray beard, last seen wearing camouflage cap, red flannel shirt, olive green work pants. Vehicle described as green Dodge Ram 1500.


9/25: Party reported injured deer in neighbor’s Johnson Place front yard. D.O.A. Covered with blanket, DPW to pick up.


9/25: Getting egg on your…place. Claremont Avenue resident reported house egged in evening. Egg thrown at front second-floor window. Crescent Avenue resident reported eggs thrown at house.

9/28: Caller reported Hewlett Avenue transformer smoking, sparking. FD/Con Ed notified.


9/28: Caller reported flooding in area of Community Synagogue. Car stuck in water.


9/28: Milton Road caller stated his backyard flooded by Milton Harbor House pumping water from units onto his property.


9/28: Caller reported hit and run 10-53 to her vehicle in Lot 3, Smith/School streets. No injuries.


9/28: Caller reported terminated employee trashing Theodore Fremd Avenue office. No damage. Subject, upset over firing, identified and escorted off property.


9/28: Caller reported someone filed tax returns using her husband’s identity. Will complete sworn statement.

10/1: Complainant stated two pairs of sunglasses stolen from his Milton Road residence.
