United States Marine Corps <<PFC Cooper Custis Lee Barnes>> returned home to Rye this month, after undergoing artillery training for several months. He is headed to Camp Lejeune at the end of his leave. The 2020 Rye High School graduate is the son of Blair Redd Schmieg of Palm Beach, Florida and Frank E. “Chip” Barnes III of Rye.
