At the 29th annual Westchester Senior Hall of Fame Awards Luncheon, December 2 at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown, Rye’s Tom Saunders was among the award recipients.
Outstanding Senior Advocate Tom Saunders
The awards are presented to Westchester seniors who have made outstanding contributions in one of three areas: human services, humanitarianism and philanthropy, and for outstanding leadership in initiating, improving, or expanding services and programs.
The event is co-sponsored by the Westchester Public/Private Partnership for Aging Services, the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services, and Westchester County Parks. Since the Hall of Fame began, more than 870 seniors have been inducted.
