Seniors Have Their Day and Discover More Ways to Stay Fit

The Rye Y welcomed over 30 older adults May 28 for an afternoon devoted to senior health & fitness.

The Rye Y welcomed over 30 older adults May 28 for an afternoon devoted to senior health & fitness. Participants sampled classes from Zumba to Yoga & Breathing, to EnhanceFitness and Ta’i Chi. The event was free and open to the community.
Starting June 24, the Y is offering a 12-week free pilot program of EnhanceFitness classes. The activity has been shown to reduce arthritic symptoms.
