We live in a community that is rich in history,

We live in a community that is rich in history, and we’re fortunate to have an historical society that offers us walking tours back in time. Last Sunday, we were treated to “Rye 1850-1950: The Evolution of a Suburb.” At locations all within walking distance of town, docents and tour guides described how our little village grew its community roots —neighborhoods, schools, churches, and Central Business District. Thanks to Rye Historical Society staff, trustees, and volunteers for giving us 100 years of history in just a few hours.
