Families piled into the Damiano Rec Center for an old-fashioned double feature on Sunday, Dec. 3 — a magic show, followed by a songfest.
Jon Cap had more than a few clever tricks up his sleeve and kept the crowd amused and amazed.
In perfect four-part harmony, the Tri-County Connection led listeners in hymns, Hanukkah songs, Christmas carols, and popular holiday tunes. The barbershop quartet also performed a few special selections for the youngest members of the audience, including “The Christmas Alphabet.”
This is the 38th year that Rye Recreation has treated us to a holiday show. With the weather outside a little frightful, there was no singing around a bonfire, but the event was sure delightful.
