Hundreds of triathletes, of all ages and sizes, decided to forgo brunch September 27 in favor of donning wet suits, riding britches, and running shoes to participate in the Zoot Westchester Triathon. Beginning at Playland, adult athletes braved a .9-mile swim, a 25-mile bike tour of Rye, and a 6.2-mile run.
Elizabeth Pratt was the overall female finisher in 2:13:29 and Mike Meehan topped the men’s bracket with a time of 1:57:23.
