Tommy Malloy

Thomas M. Malloy passed away peacefully after a brief illness on March 24, 2024. He was 66.

Born on Staten Island, N.Y. on Sept. 27, 1957, he was the son of John and Catherine Malloy. The family moved to Rye, N.Y in 1971.

He loved all things sport, especially tennis and golf. At the Superbowl parties he hosted, he was delighted to show off his culinary skills. In his later years, he enjoyed spending time with his parents, going for long walks, and reading books and newspapers. “Tommy was always reading!” said his family.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Malloy was predeceased by two brothers, Peter and Christopher; his sister, Justine; and his brother-in-law, Peter Hanretty. He is survived by his brothers John (Patrice) Malloy, Michael (Gail) Malloy, Robert Malloy, and Stephen Malloy, and his sister, Catherine Hanretty.

Donations in Tommy Malloy’s memory can be made to The Catholic Kolping Society of New York, 2916 Grand Concourse, Bronx, N.Y.
