Mark — Taylor

 

Rebecca Claire Mark and Nicholas Hodges Taylor were married on September 1, 2019 at Westchester Country Club. The outdoor ceremony was held in the Memorial Bandshell and was followed by a reception in the Biltmore Room.

 

The bride is the daughter of Joan and Dr. Joel Mark of Rye. The groom is the son of Mary Ann Huntsman of Newport Beach, Calif. and Tim Taylor of San Clemente, Calif.

 

The bride was escorted by her parents. The maid of honor was Alexandra Boillot, of Rye. Cliff Taylor, brother of the groom, was the best man. The bride’s brothers, Jon and Ted Mark, were also in the wedding party.

 

The bride, a graduate of Greenwich Academy and Wesleyan University, is an Associate with Ernst & Young in New York City. The groom, who graduated from Corona Del Mar High School and Colgate University, is a Market Data Manager with Schonfeld Strategic Techworx in New York City.

 

The couple met at a mutual friend’s Santa Con party in December 2013, when Rebecca inadvertently stole Nick’s pizza order. Five years later, Nick proposed to her in their New York City apartment over several boxes of pizza.

 

Following a honeymoon in Italy, (where they learned to make pizza), the couple returned to their home in Manhattan.
