It happens every fall! For an amazing 70 years, Rye Recreation has reached out to local businesses and asked them if they wouldn’t mind letting Rye children transform their front windows on a Sunday afternoon. Imagine the delights and frights when those generous merchants, real estate agents, and restaurateurs arrive back at work Monday morning.
Rye Rec has been ably assisted with this event for many years by the Woman’s Club Children’s Philanthropy.
Despite the chill in the air last Sunday, all ages were thrilled to watch the young artists, learn how to really carve a pumpkin, have their portrait sketched, or just stroll.
