A Group With a Lot of Character

Members and guests of SPRYE gathered on a recent Sunday afternoon at a member’s home for a reading of the classic comedy, “You Can’t Take It with You,” by Kaufman and Hart.

Members and guests of SPRYE gathered on a recent Sunday afternoon at a member’s home for a reading of the classic comedy, “You Can’t Take It with You,” by Kaufman and Hart. The play was a perfect choice for the group of armchair actors because of the large number of roles and colorful characters. Cary Fuller, a retired teacher of English and drama at Rye Country Day School, was the impressario for the reading, which was accompanied by refreshments.

Given the success of the first play reading, others are sure to follow.
