“My dad used to make furniture with his dad in Italy,” said Dan who learned how to repair clocks and wristwatches from his grandfather and started building go-karts long before he could get a license. His brothers, John and Mario, took over the business when their dad, Frank, retired. Dan stuck to cars and divides his time between auto sales and mechanics.
Frank’s finest achievement, and the one we pass by every day, is the clock tower atop City Hall, which was unveiled in 1974.
