It is with deep sorrow that the family of Ann M. Pike, a cherished member of the community, announces her passing on April 4, 2024, at Westchester Medical Center.
Born on Aug. 18, 1958, in Mineola, N.Y., the daughter of Francis and Marie Madden, she was raised in Floral Park, N.Y. After graduating from Sacred Heart Academy in Hempstead, N.Y., she received an undergraduate degree at Fairfield University.
Ann started her career at NatWest PLC and then enjoyed success in sales at Xerox Corporation. After starting a family, she became a real estate agent at Merritt Associates, before joining Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty in Rye.
She and her husband, Dana Pike, the love of her life, celebrated their 37th anniversary last November.
A devout Catholic, she was actively involved at The Church of the Resurrection, especially its Outreach Program and Walking with Purpose. At Resurrection Grammar School, she was a consummate volunteer, serving as both president and chairperson of the PTO, as well as on the Midnight Run, Brown Bag Project, and Christmas Fair committees.
Ann Pike will be remembered for her abundant kindness, enduring spirit, and fierce love for her family.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Pike is survived by her three children, Lauren Peek (Woody), Connor (Betsy), and Matthew, along with her brother, Frank Madden (Marilyn). She is also survived by her young grandsons, Colin and Hunter Peek, for whom she was the “greatest Gram” — an enthusiastic nanny, world-class lullaby singer, and monster truck aficionado.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Church of the Resurrection April 10 at 10 a.m. A reception will follow at the Apawamis Club.
Donations in Ann Pike’s memory may be made to Walking with Purpose.
