Sterling Park Independent Living residents at The Osborn enjoyed a number of lively events in April.
At Founders’ Week festivities, the seniors honored co-founders Miriam A. Osborn and her attorney John W. Sterling. The following week, residents attended the Osborn Artists Showcase and Wine and Cheese reception at the Rye Free Reading Room to celebrate the display of their artwork at the library. They also went on trips to the Hudson River and Frick museums.
The busy month culminated in The Osborn’s celebration of Arbor Day, at which Michael Penziner gave a guided tour of The Osborn Arboretum to residents and the general public.
