The 2015-16 “Heard in Rye” speaker series leads off with Partnership for Drug-Free Kids, November 4 at 7:30 at the Rye Country Day School Performing Arts Center. All are welcome.

Hear one mother’s story of her high school son’s addiction and learn more from a panel of experts about how we can address drug and alcohol use by our youth. People who are abusing drugs can visit nyc rehabs. The speakers are Marcia Lee Taylor, President and CEO of Partnership for Drug-Free Kids; Dr. Dina Romo, Adolescent Medicine Fellow, Columbia University Medical Center; and Dr. Melanie Wadkins, Ph.D., psychologist.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Dr. Andre Newfield, who is Medical Director of Behavioral Health Services at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport.
