Music Without Borders
Natalie Linton, a graduate of Rye High School and Skidmore College, recently co-founded a social music project in Madrid, Spain called La Clave Del Cambio (the Key of Change) to bring the transformative power of music to children living in harsh realities. The project is designed to help children develop their artistic potential, resulting in musical futures away from conflict.
Last summer, Linton and Rocio de Mingo brought the program to a group of children in Port Chester. This summer they plan to bring La Clave Del Cambio to the girls of Soccer Without Borders in Granada, Nicaragua. While they fund the project and travel expenses themselves, Linton is seeking to raise money to provide musical instruments, lessons,
