Paint the Masters: Berthe Morisot
Create your very own masterpiece inspired by Morisot. In this workshop, led by Laura Anechiarico, you will learn about how Morisot used composition, colors, and brushstrokes to express her feelings and emotions in their timeless style. Choose to replicate one of her famous paintings or follow your inspiration to create your own interpretation.
No experience necessary. All supplies included. (Remember, it’s BYOB, ages 21 and up.)

Figure Drawing Workshop
Working with a clothed model, we will focus on getting the big, abstracted shape relationships down quickly. The first hour will be fast poses to warm up, the rest of the class will be longer poses. Using examples from the old masters to contemporary figurative artists to create atmospheric compositions.

Portfolio Prep for Teens Workshop
This workshop is designed to help students, ages 12-18, develop strong foundational art-making skills, incorporating creative conceptual skills to move forward with confidence. Students will increase their potential for depth and range of talents; increase their capacity for speaking about one’s own work; and develop a portfolio suitable for college admission.
