12/2: Snow ordinance summonses issued: Hill/Wainwright streets. Dearborn/Oakwood/Park/Roosevelt avenues, Overlook Place,

 

12/1: Suspicious party reported, Purchase Street. Large bearded male in red suit, white trim, making lists, checking them twice, asking questions about naughty or nice. Checked out, Rye Chamber’s Mistletoe Magic participant

 

12/1: Grandview Avenue resident reported rowdy kids I.F.O. his house. Two kids walking home.

 

12/1: Onondaga Street resident stated there were eight kids in small red car I.F.O. his home. Group asked to move w/o incident.

 

12/1: Two cars reported parked illegally, lot 1. Summonses issued.

 

11/30: Early construction reported, North Street, 8:50 a.m. Crew warned of 10 a.m. start time.

 

11/30: Con Ed barricades at Apawamis/Cowles avenues, partially blocking road. Moved to side of road by gas main work.

 

11/30: Grandview Avenue party reported his electrical fixtures in front yard were damaged.

 

11/30: Orchard Avenue resident stated kids throwing debris, glass into roadway. Trash cleaned by resident.

 

11/29: Stop, in the name of Gov. Building Dept. reported contractors building Pine Island wall without permit. Car 12 sent. Contractors advised to stop work immediately and to contact Building Dept. regarding proper work permits. Homeowners advised.

 

11/28: Hack-neyed. Taxi abandoned, Boston Post/Hillside roads. Hannigan’s towing removed.

 

11/27: Kirby Lane/Van Renssalear caller reported he could hear horn blaring and see flooding in tide mill area. Concerned motorist could be stranded. Battery disconnected on vehicle.

 

11/27: Packard Court resident reported missing jewelry. Believed past employee was responsible.

 

11/27: Entitlement. Car Park #3, Smith Street, unattended red Mercedes left running for at least 40 minutes. Summons issued.

 

11/27: Party not home and neighbor called to alert him to a vehicle idling I.F.O. his Chester Drive home. Youths waiting for a friend.

 

11/27: Tough times for print. Harbor Terrace caller stated something was thrown at his door. Newspaper being delivered.

 

11/26: Re-leash the hounds! Rye Town Park, complaint of dogs unleashed, 9:22 a.m. Parties warned, dogs leashed.

 

11/26: BPR/Central Avenue, Red Bull truck reported parked illegally.

 

11/25: Glen Oaks Drive caller reported possible burst water pipe. Shut-off water valve.

 

11/24: Hang-on sloop. Caller reported large green sloop in Playland Cove, anchored between breakwater and pier for past week with no activity.

 

11/24: Florence Avenue complainant stated branch from city-owned tree marked for removal down in her yard. DPW notified.

 

11/23: Marriott management requested help evicting loud group from Room 135. Guests cooperative.

 

11/23: Marriott management requested officer to check exit door area where someone may have been opening door allowing guests inside. No parties found outside door.

 

11/23: Light-igation? Heritage Lane caller stated that while he and wife were out unknown parties installed landscape lighting on their property.

 

11/23: City Manager reported city vehicle damaged while parked on Theall Road.

 

11/23: Cars on lawn, youths reported yelling, Ormond Place. Cars 16 and 10 sent. Dispute settled prior to arrival.

 

11/23: Group therapy. Parkway Drive caller reported large group of youths, possibly intoxicated,  in roadway. Dispersed large group. Monitored.

 

11/22: Garden Drive caller reported hearing strange noise in her basemen. Noise from boiler spooked resident.

 

11/22: Toyota Financial Services agent repossessed vehicle from Hannigan’s tow lot.

 

11/22: Reading comprehension. RHS, ongoing issue with party disregarding crossing guard and no left turn sign.

 

11/22: Forest/Dearborn avenues area complainant saw what appeared to be firearm in yard. Toy airsoft gun replica, not firearm.

 

11/22: High Street caller reported tow truck dropped off vehicle in street with no front tire. Removed.

 

11/21: Bicycle reported stolen at RHS on 11/20.

 

11/20: Deer, prudent. Beverly Drive caller reported deer stuck between wall and her fence. Deer able to get out and ran away.

 

11/19: Forest Avenue complainant reported vandalism to her lantern.

 

11/19: Bicycle stolen from Station Plaza.

 

11/19: Teenager bitten by dog while running with team. Admitted to possibly scaring dog with group of runners. Very minor bite.
