3/14: No lights, no license, no luck. Vehicle observed driving without headlights and stopped on Midland Avenue by Five Corners. Driver issued summonses for no license, no lights. Vehicle towed.


3/14: No lights, no license, no luck. Vehicle observed driving without headlights and stopped on Midland Avenue by Five Corners. Driver issued summonses for no license, no lights. Vehicle towed.

3/14: Homeowners stated that unknown persons entered their residence, did damage, and removed property. Entry gained by forcing way through rear kitchen door. Offenders displaced furniture and other property in several rooms.

3/15: Complainant reported that someone assuming his identity moved money from his TD Bank accounts, attempting to steal over $100. Access to account was discovered by bank staff after a transfer made at their Philadelphia branch.

3/13: Shopowner turned in wallet containing two credit cards, ID, and personal papers found at corner of Purchase and Elm. Search turned up contact number for owner’s relative. Wallet retrieved.

3/12: Cat burglar? Officers dispatched to report of caller hearing someone in her house. Secured exterior, requested homeowner come to front door. No point of entry located. No suspect or suspicious activity located. Noise possibly made by cat.

2/29: The hits just keep on coming. Complainant reported advising Citibank of unauthorized $1,000 withdrawal from account Feb. 5. Withdrawal took place at Citibank’s 717 Avenue of the Americas branch. Citibank credited account, conducting internal investigation. Victim believes he’s part of “skimmer” scam at Rye Citibank branch.

2/29: Complainant stated his identity taken to apply for numerous credit cards and account falsified through credit agency.

2/29: Officer responded to criminal mischief complaint at Cedar Street. Observed graffiti on retaining wall along I-95. Photographed, referred to Detective Division.

2/29: Officer advised by Detective of graffiti on wall near I-95 tunnel to Depot Plaza. Photos taken. Graffiti message: “JFK.” Property maintained by MTA.

3/1: Call-out for donuts — no, not that kind. Old blue Jeep Wrangler, covered in mud, reported doing “donuts and off-roading” in woods between I-95 and train tracks near Theodore Fremd. Vehicle gone by time Rye patrol arrived. Harrison PD later advised Jeep was stopped.

3/2: Victim, 18, “jumped” by unknown party while walking home from town. Officer observed minor injuries to victim’s hands.

3/3: Unregistered, uninsured vehicle, missing two headlamps, stopped at Midland Avenue and Cottage Street. Towed.

3/3: Officer observed expired inspection certificate on 2010 Black Nissan. NYSPIN revealed operator’s privilege to drive suspended. Arrested and released.

3/3: Brown leather wallet recovered by young Rye resident in area of Hewlett Avenue and Robert Crisfield Place. Contained $212 in cash. Attempted to locate owner through credit cards. NYS Driver License address in New Rochelle no longer valid. Reward?

3/4: Officer on patrol observed red Chevy dump truck traveling on Playland access drive with broken front windshield and tail lamps. Discovered the 52-year-old Stamford man had NY license suspended. Vehicle registration expired last April. Truck towed, impounded. Driver released on $250 cash bail pending court appearance.

3/4: All in a daze work. Vehicle struck utility pole driving northbound on Milton Road. Driver unconscious and appeared to be in arrest. CPR performed by officer. AED connected, no shock advised. Operator removed by EMS.

3/5: Officer observed 2008 Black Pontiac on public roadway. Offender entered station house to apply for Rye City Solicitor’s Permit. NYSPIN revealed operator’s driving privileges in NY suspended. Driver released on $50 cash bail pending court appearance.

3/5: Live and Learner. Walk-in reported her daughter lost wallet on 3/2 around 7 p.m. on Milton Road. Contents: $7, cash, house key, NY Learner Permit.

3/6: Party fitting description of earlier State Police pursuit reported in Playland Market. All units dispatched. Male suspect taken into custody. Released to N.Y.S.P.

3/7: Complainant stated her son lost a passport in unknown spot. Deposition filed.

3/7: Complainant reported unknown person called claiming to be grandson, needing money. Resident recognized scam immediately, called RPD.

3/7: Keep the charge. Officer dispatched to medical group regarding a stolen cell phone. Woman mistakenly left her cell charging in a conference room over night. Multiple parties said they saw phone before it went missing.

3/8: Walk in reported suspicious black Jeep parked, then driving slow in area of George Langeloh Court.

3/8: Complainant at headquarters reported compromised Chase Bank account through unauthorized activity. Statement filed.

3/9: Offender arrested for possession of stolen property, charged with resisting arrest. Held for arraignment.

3/8: Dispatched officer found 31-year-old victim bent over, leaning on bicycle, in extreme pain and bleeding from mouth. Stated he was struck by vehicle on Westchester Avenue in White Plains or Harrison. Knocked unconscious. Stranger drove him home, where police, EMS responded. Victim taken to Westchester Medical Center.

3/9: Complainant stated wallet stolen from his car. Four unauthorized $240 transactions made at Metro-North. License and SS card also in wallet.

3/11: Officer dispatched to reported burglary on Theodore Fremd Avenue. Front door to business broken. Interior and exterior check conducted, but no suspects located.

3/11: Officer observed man operating 1995 Honda Civic with MD plates heading southbound on Midland exceeding posted speed limit. Operator failed to stop for emergency lighting and siren.

3/11: Two officers injured while attempting to apprehend a suspect in vicinity of Purchase Street and Theodore Fremd. Offender struck officer with weapon on upper arm, causing pain and swelling. No further details available.

3/12: Officers dispatched to scene of burglary in progress. Caller hysterical. Discovered suspect fled scene with victim’s bag. Suspect arrived at her door in early morning. Asked to use bathroom. Suspect pushed victim inside, causing her to hit back against wall and severe pain.

3/12: A complainant reported unauthorized activity in his Citibank accounts on 2/6.
