5/20: Walk-in reported city workers did not yield right of way to him at BPR/Central Avenue. Statement taken.

 

5/20: Un-scene. MVA, car park #4, vehicle with NY registered plates hit parked vehicle, left scene.

 

5/19: Criminal mischief, graffiti on Rye Town Park garage.

 

5/19: Officer observed graffiti on storage boxes at Westchester CC beach, Van Renssalaer Road. Confirmed it was new with workers, occurred sometime before 1:30 a.m.

 

5/19: Suspicious vehicle, black Jeep Cherokee reported driving numerous times in area of Bennett Street/Helen Avenue.

 

5/19: Golden Rule. Anonymous party turned in gold money clip containing $10 to officer outside HQ.

 

5/19: Station Plaza, person screaming in train parking lot. Orderly trying to subdue his patient.

 

5/18: Female reported being followed by white Volvo. Cars 10, 12, and 14 dispatched to look for car. Occupants of Volvo threatening complainant’s safety.

 

5/18: Complainant stated she saw a male at Sunrise Pizza in camouflage shorts with young boy whom she felt was afraid of the male and did not belong with him. Employee stated they left prior to officer’s arrival and all appeared to be okay with individual and child.

 

5/18: Caller reported someone stuck in Rye Town Park, destroying gate to get out. Condition corrected, no damage to note.

 

5/18: Noise complaint. Resident stated intermittent car alarm going off near Coveleigh Club paddle courts. Uncooperative person on private property.

 

5/18: Construction before 10 a.m. Helen Avenue. Warning issued.

 

5/18: Leaf blower violation, Kirby Lane/Van Renssalaer Road. Summons issued.

 

5/18: Walk-in complained red pick-up moved barrier from employee-only parking area at Rye Marina, parked in non-designated area behind barrier. Summons issued.

 

5/18: MVA, BPR/Central Avenue. Vehicle struck youth on bicycle. EMS dispatched. Medical attention refused, mother present.

 

5/18: State Police reported female complained of being tossed from car by boyfriend with her 4-year-old child, BPR/Cedar Street.

 

5/18: Nissan hit. Complainant stated his car was struck by white Nissan that fled scene.

 

5/15: Fred, Barney; c’mon guys, not nice. Fraud reported in area; sale of TV’s from gray minivan. Boxes contained rocks.

 

5/16: Male pushing shopping cart down street near Drake Smith Lane reported. Known party collecting recycling curbside.

 

5/16: New joint in town. Suspicious person reported, male approximately 18 years old wearing blue sweat pants, white T-shirt smoking joint and looking into cars on New Street. Spoke to resident who stated he believes party lives in apartments across street. Will call back if behavior continues.

 

5/15: Lost & Phoned. Caller reported locating his missing iPhone. Officer arrived and spoke with two youths who work at Y with owner of phone, who had taken it when he left it behind and were going to return it. Owner arrive on scene, confirmed they were his friends. Property returned.

 

5/15: Caller reported serious MVA in front of her house, Manursing Way. Car hit pole.

 

5/15: Car reported violating 2-hour parking several days in a row, Wappanocca Avenue/Natoma Street. DPW needed to grind tree stump near vehicle.

 

5/15: Leaf blowers, Overdale Road. Summons issued.

 

5/14: RHS nurse reported gray Honda Pilot driving recklessly on Parsons Street. Female driver dropped off RMS student.

 

5/14: Summons of us are just lucky. PEO reported vehicle with over $400 in unpaid tickets parked in Car Park #1. Warning issued.

 

5/14: Leaf blowers reported, Five Points/Midland Avenue. Warning.

 

5/14: Caller reported someone hit her car, while parked in lot near Theodore Fremd, and left scene.

 

5/13: Neighborhood trouble reported, Walden Lane, someone yelling.

 

5/13: Caller reported female approximately 50 years old trying to climb on train track to retrieve a receipt.

 

5/12: Spray it ain’t so! Unknown parties spray-painted graffiti on walls by Rye Town Park.

 

5/12: Assisted person crying near gate at Midland Avenue/Holly Lane

 

5/12: Running on empty. Vehicle found running on side of road near Forest/Dearborn avenues, no driver.

 

5/12: Dispute between homeowner and contractor reported, Rye Beach Avenue.

 

5/12: Code call. Caller reported Eve Lane homeowner using power-washer on Sunday. Turned off.

 

5/11: Complainant stated construction work prior to 10 a.m. Orchard Avenue/ Chestnut Street.

 

5/11: Leash the hounds! Resident reported large number of dogs off-leash, Rye Town Park.

 

5/11: Caller reported someone removed forty dollars and a cell phone from one of her purses, moved it to another and took second purse form her White Birch Drive house. Detective Division notified.

 

5/11: Jay-walkers. Two parties who solicited money, Barlow Lane/John Jay Place, received warning.

 

5/11: Solicitors going door to door, Trails End.

 

5/11: Over hill, over dale, over-served. Caller complained of possibly intoxicated person driving green jeep with Colorado plates near Stuyvesant/Van Wagenen avenues. Vehicle found parked on Overhill.

 

5/10: What a releaf. Marlene Court caller reported leaf blowers. Condition corrected.

 

5/10: Car fire reported near Citibank. RFD sent. Vehicle overheated, no fire.

 

5/10: Complaint of leaf blowers, Ellis Court/Midland Avenue, Searched area, no result.

 

5/10: Strike a poise. Complainant stated there were loads of leaf blowers in Loudon Woods. Upon arrival, all were using power mowers, leaf blowers poised to be used, but no violation, advised three landscaping companies of regulation

 

5/10: Boot bout. Complainant stated two males threatened to beat him up. Civil matter between complainant and Rye Colony Apartments’ management company over booting of cars on private property.

 

5/9: Loud noise reported, Cottage Street. Only noise in area was complex sprinkler system.

 

5/9: Coyote sighted, Magnolia Place backyard, 7:30 a.m.

 

5/9: Rear-end collision reported, Boston Post/Hillside roads. Party’s vehicle stopped at light hit by second vehicle, no injuries, information exchanged.

 

5/9: Wainwright Street caller reported various items taken from his garage.

 

5/9: Stuyvesant Avenue caller reported coyote in backyard showing no fear, 2 p.m. Moved to neighbor’s yard. Check of area with no result.

 

5/8: Vehicle parked at Midland Avenue/Goldwin Street, unoccupied, suspended registration, summons issued.

 

5/8: South Manursing resident reported coyote in front yard, 9 a.m. Upon arrival sighted one coyote in sanctuary by Island Drive.

 

5/8: Party stated he was unable to locate vehicle near Adelaide Street, seemed disoriented. Located resident’s vehicle in different area.

 

5/7: Caller reported coyote sighting, Lindbergh Avenue, fleeing toward Rye Golf Club, 6:30 a.m.

 

5/7: Two complainants reported leaf blowers in use, Grace Church Street/ Guelisten Place and Highland Road/Mohawk Street, no leaf-blowers upon arrival, warning issued.

 

5/7: Sick raccoon reported at RHS.

 

5/7: MVA, vehicle rollover. Northbound vehicle on Forest Avenue struck pole. Operator complained of elbow pain. EMS, RFD, Con Ed, and DPW notified, traffic closed.

 

5/6: Not home alone. Boy reported alone at corner of Theodore Fremd Avenue/Elm Place. Returned boy to home, spoke with mother.

 

5/6: Walk-in reported finding wallet in street.

 

5/6: Female party reported dumping recyclables, making mess, Valleyview/Forest avenues. Advised not to make mess and to clean up.

 

5/5: Gone-cart. Kids driving illegal vehicle, Eldridge Court/ Place. Resident warned and go-cart put away by mother.

 

5/5: Gone, but not forgotten. Walk-in reported suspicious male, T-shirt, Adidas sandals, long pants walking around Theodore Fremd Avenue property. GOA.

 

5/5: Person of Interest. Male in black pants, white shirt, black tie going door to door, Kirby Lane. Employed by Graceful Hand Inc. Warning issued.

 

5/4: Construction before 10 a.m. Osborn Road/Coolidge Avenue.

 

5/4: Rabid raccoon, Forest Avenue/Hook Road.

 

5/4: Leaf blowers reported, George Langeloh Court, language barrier, new construction, no boss, no company vehicle on scene.

 

5/3: Harassment reported, Purchase Street. Party entered her workplace and started cursing in front of customers.

 

5/3: Youths possibly starting fire by brook, BPR/Rectory Street. GOA.

 

5/3: Park Avenue caller reported loud party next door, 11 p.m.

 

5/2: Fine day for a tow. Vehicle impounded, Car Park 4, expired registration and scofflaw. Operator paid fines at City Hall and settled with tow-company.

 

5/1: Grace Church Street complainant stated some property taken from her residence.

 

5/1: Assisted school crossing guard, Osborn/Theall roads, 2:30 p.m.

 

5/1: Caller reported possibly intoxicated females in black Honda. Assisted County PD.

 

4/30: PEO reported scofflaw vehicle, Car Park 2. Towed.

 

4/30: So-duh sedan. Complainant stated he was running near Forest Avenue/Magnolia Place when party threw soda can out of passing silver sedan hatchback window striking him in leg and causing contusion.
