Ninety-nine students graduated from Rye Country Day School on June 5. It was the 146th Commencement of the private, co-educational day school.
The Commencement Address was delivered by Rye Country Day alumnus Erik S. Pitchal, who is a Judge of the Family Court of the State of New York. The theme of his talk was: you can accomplish the impossible if you have someone who believes in you. For him, that someone was former Rye Country Day School teacher Cary Fuller, who helped him succeed in school. He drew on his experiences as a Family Court judge to illustrate his point further.
