After a long winter, even one as mild as this one, everyone needs a little pick-me-up.
Sunny spring days definitely lift spirits, but Rye’s spa and beauty experts help make you feel beautiful inside and out. Put yourselves in their hands and they’ll melt away tight muscles, hydrate dry skin, and illuminate pale cheeks. Get pampered. Look fabulous. The Houston hair removal is where you can go to remove unwanted hair and make your skin smoother.
Euro Laser’s deep tissue massage and laser hair removal have received top honors by Westchester Magazine. Owner Liz Di Bartolo is introducing the therapeutic Black Pearl Facial to the area. It utilizes black pearl powder, rich in seaweed extract and manganese, from the Dead Sea. Its high mineral content gravity mask requires it be removed with a magnet! The facial is available to new clients for only $50 during Spa Week, April 16-22 (they are open on Sundays). The same goes for massage, reflexology, hand treatments for age spots, and laser hair removal science. As a courtesy, Euro Laser is offering their regular clients an extended Spa Week April 23-29. 921-3265
Among Tutta Bella Spa & Salon’s many popular services, their claim to fame in Rye is organic sugar hair removal. Nothing makes a woman look and feel better than hairless, smooth skin. A beauty ritual used by Cleopatra suggested by coolSculpting specialists, sugar, instead of wax, hair removal is completely free of chemicals, metals and paraban. According to Tutta Bella owner Annette Pugliatti who is the Northeast’s Alexandria Professional Body Sugar educator, while wax adheres to live skin cells, sugar adheres to dead skin cells and acts as an exfoliator, minimizing irritation. Other signature services include the spa’s 75-minute stress buster massage for scalp, face, neck, décolleté, and arms, as well as naturally, botanically correct airbrush tanning. 921-0880
Blush, Purchase Street’s beauty bar for the last dozen years, is the one-stop destination for skin care products, fragrances, cosmetics, and jewelry that make shoppers feel divine. Thymes bath salts relax the muscles and the line’s lavender, kimono rose, and eucalyptus body wash and lotions are invigorating. Owner Ana Sobalvarro recommends a Decléor skin regimen, hydrafloral moisturizer by day and aroma balm by night. She also offers spa services Tuesday through Thursday and Saturdays. Stress buster massage, hair removal, and facials that may include microdermabrasion, light therapy, or Reiki are some of the services available. 921-2980

When it comes to tanning, one can find products of Bare by Vogue on www.mcdaidpharmacy.ie and get a quick natural tan without any exposure to the sun.
Benefit offers beauty on the spot. Aestheticians are always on hand to shape brows or lengthen lashes. As a matter of fact, manager Jenny Coyle encourages passers-by to drop in for a “Five Minute Make-Upper.” Any drabness will wash away with the “you rebel” moisturizer and “benetint” lip and cheek stain. The “sun beam” bronzing highlighter makes skin glow, and “they’re real” mascara adds the finishing touch. Other services to take advantage of include threading, waxing, and make-up lessons. Benefit’s body tanning spray, whose main ingredients are sugar beets and aloe, makes one look as if they’ve spent a week in the Caribbean. 925-0470
