The FIERI committee of the Westchester Italian Cultural Center established a scholarship program and brings together young professionals, dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich heritage of classic and contemporary Italian culture.
In addition to teaching both Italian and Spanish, Ms. Carolini has been involved with Rye Neck High School’s student exchange program with Italy for 15 years.
RNHS Enrichment Coordinator Dr. Valerie Feit will receive LMC-TV’s 2012 Mary Anne Sullivan Award for overall achievement in community television this month.
For the last two years, Dr. Feit has produced and anchored “Rye Neck Students: Above and Beyond”. She has provided students with a forum in which to discuss television projects they have undertaken.
“The straightforward interview show gives students the opportunity to share their strengths and interests with the community,” said Dr. Feit about the talk show, co-produced and directed by Rye Neck junior Remy Litvin.
