The Rye YMCA hosted its annual Derby and Healthy Kids Day on one of the best spring days yet this year. A couple of Rye’s elite young runners took top prizes in the 5K race, while seasoned professional runners won top honors in the 5 Mile race. The most colorful Derby day race is always the 1 Mile Family Fun Run, which encourages friendly competition and healthy family fun.
