The Sweet Song of Spring
For photographer Jay Mahoney, who lives most of the year in Colorado, — but happily “migrates” to our neck of the woods, like so many of the birds he captures in flight, nest-building, searching for food and mates— spring is the season. “For me it is the best time of the year to photograph because of all the color. And the bullfrogs and building, and rabbits are up and out again,” says Mahoney.
