Five School of the Holy Child student-athletes received athletic honors for their outstanding performance in winter sports.
Freshman basketball guard Victoria Hanley was named a Western New England Class B All-Star and All-League. She was the leading scorer with 332 points, and averaged 15.8 points per game. She also led the team in 3-pointers and steals with 69. Her teammate, senior co-captain Elizabeth Eiden also earned All-League. Eiden, a forward, scored 136 points and led the team in rebounds with 146. She also earned Honorable Mention in volleyball, which she has played for four years. Senior co-captain Elizabeth Curcio, also a forward, earned Honorable Mention.
She scored 166 points and was one of the top rebounders with 134. Curcio finished her career second in all-time assists at Holy Child.
In squash, freshman Victoria Hucro earned All-League and senior Millie Cavicchio received Honorable Mention. Hucro, who played No. 1 all season, had 14 wins and earned the New England Squash Division C Championship crown. Cavicchio, the team captain, at No. 2, had the second most wins on the team with six.
