Many guests were ferried over, others arrived on foot to the Rye Historical Society’s bash, A Night at the Races, June 8. Hosts Bob and Debra Stokes-Kaplan offered the perfect setting, their waterfront home. It was an odds-on favorite with guests, many of whom wore Triple-Crown quality hats.
In between “races” — sensational cocktails, a light and lovely supper, dancing to selections of DJ Prince Hakim — funds were raised for the Society’s ever-expanding enrichment programs.
Hats off to the benefit co-chairs, Jennette Cummins, Olivia Koller, and Luana Murno, and their down-the-stretch committee.
