For believers of all ages, this time of year is magical in so many ways. The first snow sends us all to the hill at Rye Town Park. Parents and grandparents sit around fires and share stories of holidays past and their journeys of faith, and are happy to hold little hands on the way to magic and puppet shows and pancakes with Santa.
Thanks to Rye Recreation and the Rye Historical Society for keeping a number of treasured traditions alive.
