The Rye Free Reading Room was transformed into a Las Vegas casino on November 4 for its first-ever Casino Night benefit.
Guests, over 300 of them, dressed for the occasion and tried their luck at the tables. They also danced to lively DJ tracks and enjoyed being entertained by an Elvis impersonator and amazed by a roaming mentalist.
The evening’s big winner was the library; the sold-out event raised $70,000, which will help fund the Auxiliary Board’s mission to support children’s and STEM programming, the Summer Reading Program, and much more.
A toast to the co-chairs, Valerie Chuebon, Madison Walsh, and JoDee Weis and their dazzling committee.
