Wild Times at the Sanctuary:
Edith Read Wildlife Sanctuary was host to wildlife of a different kind last Saturday
Edith Read Wildlife Sanctuary was host to wildlife of a different kind last Saturday, when over 1,000 festival-goers descended on the park to pick the perfect pumpkin, thrill to the sights of live predators, dig into nature-themed crafts and activities, kayak, move to live music, and much more!
The Friends of Read received the blessing of Mother Nature for the fourth annual event, delivering a glorious day for the much-anticipated celebration of the fall season. Proceeds from the event help to support the operation of the sanctuary and year-round educational programming.
