Rye’s volleyball team, also known as “The Amazings”, achieved what once seemed impossible at the start of the season.
They captured the League title after winning their last five games, finishing 14-3 overall and 12-2 in the League. Making the feat all the more impressive is the fact that their star player, Jessie Moore, was sidelined by an injury in recent weeks.
RHS was seeded fourth for this week’s Sectional Championships. The Garnets lost to Ardsley 3-0 at home Monday in the opening round of playoffs.
