7/19: Complainant at Rye Rec McDonald building, Midland Avenue, stated heavy set male with gray hair, orange polo shirt, cargo shorts appeared intoxicated. After being asked to leave, counselors realized cash in envelope was missing from area where party was last seen.
7/18: Idle wild. White BMW was observed in morning unoccupied with lights on, later in the day with wipers going. Possibly left running all day. Able to shut off engine, not able to lock vehicle. Attempted to contact registered owner.
7/18: Just Don’t Do It. Hispanic male, 5’10”, short dark hair, wearing dark gym shorts/shirt, Jordan sneakers attempted to pass fake $100 bills at All Paws and JackRabbit, Purchase Street. Sworn statements taken.
7/17: Ecco Construction had access blocked to Grace Church Street bridge, I-95, in both directions for steel beam installation. I-95 n/b traffic was being routed to Midland Avenue.
7/16: Harrison PD was looking for lost blue Audi. Spoke with witnesses who stated vehicle was parked on Wappanocca Avenue 7/15, 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Harrison detectives on scene. Towed.
7/16: North Street resident reported theft of jewelry, possibly by housekeeper.
7/16: Assisted citizen. Unwanted guest at Halsted Place party. Told to leave residence and not return. Verbal interaction only.
7/16: Grow up, Doug. Street sign missing, Douglas Circle.
7/16: Black female wearing jeans, red shirt reported selling subscriptions magazine for homeless, battered women in area of BPR/Soundview Avenue. Complainant gave her a check for sub, then googled magazine and discovered it was scam. Party advised she could not solicit without permit. Left scene.
