11/11 Sad sign of the times. Milton Road caller stated “We Love Rye PD” sign was stolen, another sign was thrown across the yard.
11/10 Playing I-scream truck? Cayuga Street complainant stated someone was screaming for unknown reason. Just kids playing.
11/10 Making a hard right. Car was parked blocking exit from Car Park 5, School Street/Purdy Avenue. Summons issued. Owner returned to vehicle prior to tow, apologized to caller, made right with tow company.
11/10 Can’t see, canoe see? Kirby Lane caller reported someone trespassed on her property to gain access to water with canoe. Spoke to party who was in kayak who said he entered water away from complainant’s property. Too dark to see if anyone else was in water.
11/10 Caller stated white male, approximately 6’1”, wearing green jacket, driving black Honda Civic was telling people in Playland parking lot he was armed. WCPD notified.
11/10 Complainant stated an unwanted party was at circle in front of Manursing Island Club.
11/10 Caller reported cyclists had wiped out and were in need of medical attention, BPR/Playland Parkway. They were conscious, alert. Refused medical attention.

11/9 Leaving the area. Caller stated there were three leaf blowers in use in area, Grace Church/Loder streets, 8:58 a.m. Unfounded, 9:03 a.m.
11/9 Good tri though. Caller reported a three-legged dog with green collar walking in traffic, appeared not to have owner, looked lost, Grandview Avenue/Hillside Road, 8:56 a.m. Unfounded, 9:14 a.m.
11/8 Larceny. Resident reported bike, designer chair missing from storage unit at his Central Avenue address.
11/8 Grand Larceny. Resident stated two mountain bikes, one scooter missing from his Central Avenue storage unit.
11/8 Leaf blower reported being used on Sunday, Rye/Sound roads, 1:45 p.m.
11/8 Construction on Sunday reported, Greenhaven Road. Advised crew of City Code, and to shut down work.
11/7 Cell-fish. Noise complaint, Mead Avenue, 11:20 p.m. Caller reported persons arguing. Spoke to loud party who advised he was outside having argument over phone.
11/7 Caller stated youths were hanging out in his neighbor’s driveway, Highland Road/Onondaga Street, 10:20 p.m. Spoke to youths, no criminality afoot.
11/7 C’mon, Rudy, let it go. Complainant stated person in gray vehicle kept driving down her street honking horn. She believed the car was honking because she had a Biden sign on her lawn.
11/7 Bulkley Manor caller stated signs in her front yard were taken from her property, disposed of in garbage at Rye Beach Pharmacy.
11/7 Tide-y work. North Street resident needed help opening her laundry detergent, 1:26 p.m. Mission completed, 1:35 p.m.
11/7 Make mine a double. Leaf blowers reported. Cutting Edge Landscapers were working with two leaf blowers at Rye Grill & Bar. Ordered to shut machines down. Complied.
11/6 Caller reported woman yelling profanities and white Camaro playing loud music, Playland Park, 10:53 p.m.
11/6 Slippery. Dispatched to investigate report of girls running on Marina dock, Milton Road. Caller was worried about their safety. Located girls who reported they ate dinner on boat just bought by one girl’s parents in slip 280. Girls left area without incident.
11/6 Oakwood Avenue caller wished to document damage to her front yard.
11/6 Not worth comment. Multiple leaf blowers in use, Grace Church Street/Guelisten Place.
