1/20 MVA, Halstead Place/OBA. Vincent’s towed vehicle 1 from scene, vehicle 2 was able to be driven.

1/19 General fire alarm at Onondaga Street home. RFD dispatched, 7:23 p.m.

1/19 Water reported pouring into roadway, Cedar/Sylvan places.

1/19 Unit 2 reported traffic condition, Griffon Place/Oakland Beach Avenue. Construction vehicle moved out of roadway.

1/19 PEO issued summons for overtime parking, Cowles Avenue/Hillcrest Lane.

1/19 Caller stated she confronted suspicious heavy-set male, loitering in Goldwin Street area with others. Left area in silver hatchback, 12:47 a.m. GOA.

1/18 Quick work. Davis Avenue complainant stated his driveway was blocked by gray BMW, 10:21 p.m. Summons issued, 10:30 p.m.

1/18 Walk-in reported items were taken from her home. Report prepared.

1/18 Caller stated man wearing blue sweater, hat, with green bag had been walking around Manursing/Midland avenues for 30 minutes and looked cold; was worried about his well-being. Spoke with party who was walking his dog to library. All appeared in order.

1/17 Highland Road a shambles, but c’mon. Suspicious vehicle. Caller stated gray Toyota minivan with Taxi plates was driving on the sidewalk in area of Highland Road/Wappanocca Avenue.

1/17 Lynden Street caller reported construction on holiday. Spoke to foreman on job site. Advised him of City Code regarding no construction. Agreed to stop work and leave for day.

1/16 Water was 1 foot below retaining wall, Kirby Lane, 10:20 p.m. Roadway passable.

1/16 Caller stated toddler accidentally locked himself inside vehicle in driveway. Stated 2-year-old toddler was not in distress but could not unlock car. RFD on scene.

1/16 Got the vapors. Caller wished to document suspicious incident involving unknown party who stored what caller believed to be vape oil under rock by his Greenhaven Road home.

1/16 General fire alarm, Hannan Place. RFD requested by security company/homeowner. RFD at scene.

1/14 State Police reported call from female who said her dog was struck by car, Norman Drive/Rye Road, 8:46 a.m.

1/13 Complainant stated someone entered her unlocked car in her open garage, Forest Avenue.

1/13 Rear-render. Caller stated vehicle was blocking driveway/loading dock, 120 Old BPR. Said vehicle was on private property, assistance rendered in locating registered owner. Situation resolved.

1/13 Complainant stated there was garbage on road near his Mead Pond Lane property. Spoke to homeowner who stated DPW told her they could not pick up box due to large size; she had called for private removal.

1/12 Neighbor called regarding banging sound coming from Captain’s Lane property, possible construction, 7:42 p.m. Crew stated they were packing up for night.

1/12 Neighborhood tendency. Caller advised that he was out-of-gas near cemetery, Hannigan’s dispatched to North Street/Summit Avenue, 12:47 a.m.

1/11 Bowl-ed move. Criminal mischief reported, Coveleigh Club, stolen license plate.

1/11 Brrrravo. Rye Beach Avenue caller reported dog left outside in cold. Officer on scene was able to contact owner who had friend return dog to residence.

Long Windy, Smokey, Alarming Morning

1/17 Tree down across southbound lanes, Midland Avenue/Playland Parkway, 7:28 a.m. Also, Club Road/Sunset Lane, 7:26 a.m. DPW foreman notified.

1/17 Harding Drive caller believed someone was in their basement, 4:14 a.m. Door apparently pushed open by strong winds. Checked interior, engaged deadbolt.

1/17 Tree down, Rye Beach Avenue, 3:40 a.m. Roadway taped, made safe as possible. Con Ed personnel on scene later. Also, tree blocking Midland/Peck avenues, 3:03 a.m. DPW on scene to remove tree.

1/17 Franklin Avenue complainant stated she believed someone was in her home. Front door was slamming due to strong wind which broke door. Temporary fix to door for night.

1/17 Assisted RFD in extinguishing reported chimney fire, Colby Avenue, 2:06 a.m. Ashes had been placed in container that was not fire-resistant, causing small fire extinguished by homeowner.

1/17 Many neighborhoods’ burglar alarms required follow-up throughout the night.
