7/11: Let’s hope it’s the last! Tall, thin, black male in early 60s, possibly homeless, reported going in and out of driveways near Brown Avenue/Orchard Lane. Last seen hiding in bushes. Party was landscaper for Orchard Lane resident who stated that it was not the first time RPD had responded to a complaint regarding the above party.

7/17: Audible interior alarm, possibly low battery, believed coming from Sanford Street property. Upon approach observed two tickets from RPD/RFD with mail collecting at front door. No answer.

7/16: Let’s go places. Harding Drive complainant stated there was suspicious vehicle parked in front of her home. She thought it was a Toyota Forerunner, was not sure if it was occupied. Kids were hanging out, told to move along.

7/16: Suspicious vehicle near Community Synagogue, Forest Avenue. Driver and passenger hanging out on vehicle. Driver told to leave location, take passenger home.

7/16: Stamford PD forwarded call regarding missing 17-year-old male, phone ping indicated he was in Greenwood Union Cemetery in white Honda Civic, 6:10 a.m. Described as dark haired, brown-eyed Hispanic male. Canvassed cemetery, unable to locate vehicle or missing party.

7/16: Theall Road caller stated he was assaulted by known party, 10:38 a.m. No police action needed, incident report prepared.

7/16: Fileted. Marine Unit responded to report that group on Playland jetty was jumping into Sound. On arrival, found five persons fishing from jetty adjacent to Playland Pier. All removed, summonses issued.

7/16: Morehead Drive caller reported her oven was on fire. RFD dispatched.

7/16: Well, that’s a relief. Caller stated vehicle cut him off and driver was possibly intoxicated, refused to disclose his own personal information, BPR/Oakland Beach Avenue, 8:30 p.m. Driver not intoxicated, just bad driver. New Jersey plates.

7/15: Caller reported car parked on Theodore Fremd Avenue sidewalk, 12 a.m. Driver tired, picked up by co-workers who moved vehicle.

7/15: Cabin fever. Fare dispute with taxi driver over how many passengers were in vehicle, Station Plaza. Parties went their separate ways.

7/15: No necking! Marshlands Conservancy Ranger stopped at marine office to report on complaints from hikers in area of Mary’s Neck about vessels anchored close to shore.

7/15: Two German Shepherds reported running after people and biting someone, Glen Oaks Drive, 7:23 p.m.

7/14: Parking violation, expired registration, Car Park #1. Vehicle towed.

7/14: Wake-up call. Observed vessel heading into marina leaving large wake in Milton Harbor. Boarding conducted. Warning issued for speeding.

7/13: Caller reported two suspicious parties inside a silver Subaru with vehicle running. 8 p.m. Party lived in area, was waiting for girlfriend to get out of work, BPR/Osborn Road.

7/12: Movin’ on up. Hix Avenue sign found near Harbor Terrace Drive, brought into HQ by resident.

7/12: Bennett Street caller reported neighbor was locked out of house with her infant inside. Able to gain entry through window. Homeowner on premise.

7/12: Caller reported fawn that appeared to be sick in area of Middle School.

7/11: Larceny overnight from vehicles, Allendale Drive.

7/11: Cellphone reported found near telephone pole, Coolidge Avenue/Osborn Road. Was not cellphone, broken remote control.

7/11: Fawn, seriously injured, Grace Church Street. Dispatched.

7/11: Solicitor was concerned he did not have permit, agreed to shut it down for night, would get permit in the morning, Forest Avenue/Magnolia Lane.

7/11: Walk-in reported larceny from her vehicle overnight 7/9-10, Dearborn Avenue.

7/11: Firefighter reported a walk-in complainant stated kids were starting fires in Midland Avenue/Playland Parkway area. RFD responded. Fire located, canvassed area for youths with negative results.

7/10: Suspicious persons, Forest Avenue/Grace Church Street, 1:16 a.m. Spoke to parties who stated they were leaving Tiki Bar after work. Each person allowed bags to be checked, faces identified on camera in Unit 11.

7/10: Several construction vehicles reported parked illegally, creating hazard for cars and pedestrians, Stuyvesant/Van Wagenen avenues, 12:33 p.m.

7/10: For the birds. Bulkley Manor caller reported someone possibly shooting birds with BB gun. Landlord stated he would advise tenant to cease if it was indeed him/her.

7/10: Well done. Vale Place caller stated her BBQ grill was on fire. Fire under control on arrival.

7/10: Possibly worst-paved street in town. Complainant stated she fell outside City Court/RPD building on McCullough Place whilst walking in the street.

7/9: Party reported neighbor was damaging her property by cutting down flowers, Mead Pond Lane.

7/9: Suspicious vehicle, Elizabeth Street/Evergreen Avenue. Occupants of old pickup truck stated they were looking for Bareburger.

7/8: Sergeant stopped moped with no plates, Purchase Street/Station Plaza, 12:35 a.m. Towed by Hannigan’s.

7/8: Need a lift? Assisted County PD with truck that did not fit under bridge, Playland Parkway/Access Drive.

7/8: Dog left inside blue Mercedes-Benz, owner possibly jumped on train, Depot Plaza.

7/8: Caller reported youth skateboarding down Oakland Beach Avenue in and out of traffic. GOA.

7/7: Caller reported vehicle hit a tree near Grace Church Street/Kirby Lane, drove off towards Port Chester. Vehicle located parked, unoccupied, Townsend Street. Will be towed for illegal parking. Grace Church Street homeowner aware of damage to his yard.

7/6: Disorderly conduct, Rye Town Dock, 8:51 p.m. Three males fishing, harassing other persons with foul language. Spoke with parties who were wrapping it up for the night.

7/4: Statute of Liberty? Caller from Liberty Lines/Bee Line reported supervisor having issue with persons who were kicked off Playland bus at Station Plaza. Requested police assistance. Bus manager stated parties involved no longer allowed on Playland Line for remainder of day. Parties advised, took cab to Playland.

7/3: Vehicles entered overnight, High Street and Central Avenue.
