9/23 Multiple calls regarding accident involving vehicle hitting parked car, Theodore Fremd Avenue, 9:57 p.m.
9/23 Caller reported two children, ages approximately 3 and 7, in car with windows closed and alarm sounding in CVS parking lot, 4:18 p.m. Officers found children inside vehicle, windows open, waiting for mother who was inside CVS. Spoke with mother in store, stressed it was unsafe to leave children alone inside car. She said she had left them a phone in case they needed her. Promised to be more careful next time.
9/23 Little less nutmeg, fella. Stopped vessel bearing Conn. registration for making wake in no-wake zone in Milton Harbor. Operator warned about speed.
9/23 Caller stated Theodore Fremd Avenue neighbor was looking in his daughter’s bedroom at approximately 4 a.m.
9/22 Caller reported male party, who appeared to be intoxicated, attempting to enter dark green or gray Jeep with Conn. plates, Purchase Street, 10:54 p.m. Area canvassed, negative results.
9/22 Car reported parked in middle of Purdy Avenue, at Third Street. Ticketed by PEO.
9/22 Spicy meatball. Caller reported dismissed Rafele server was threatening other employees. Did not want to press charges. Advised to call back if anything escalated.
9/22 Peck’s Bad Boy. Rules of the Road, driving without valid license, BPR/Peck Avenue, 8:22 a.m. Vehicle impounded.
9/22 Black Jaguar SUV reported stolen overnight, Grace Church Street.
9/22 St. Regis security reported possible theft at construction site, 5 a.m. Guard stated he didn’t know if anything was stolen but saw three white males jump fence and get into van. Canvassed area, unfounded, 5:13 a.m.
9/21 Annoying pranks, no yoke. Overlook Place complainant stated unknown parties threw eggs at his house, 11 p.m. He did not know who could have done it, nor did he have any kids living in his home. He wished to just have people responsible spoken to.
9/21 Bat to the Future? Party reported white BMW kept pulling in/out of her driveway, unknown parties in car, one appeared to have a bat, 10:43 p.m. Parties checked out, stopped to check directions.
9/21 Caller stated he had very unusual interaction with tan Subaru, Forest Avenue/Ridgeland Terrace, 7:40 p.m. He was walking his dog, Subaru operator seemed to be following him. When he crossed street, car turned and continued to follow him. Described driver as Black male. No verbal interaction with the driver.
9/21 Hewlett Avenue complainant reported sign missing from his front yard.
9/21 Fare to Midland? Taxi driver in dispute with passenger, Theall Road. Parties settled on scene.
9/21 Suspicious person. Caller stated Black male with dreadlocks was attempting to steal car, Radcliffe Avenue, 2:47 a.m. Canvassed area, negative results, 3:11 a.m.
9/20 Lawrence Welk’s Greatest Hits? Caller stated teens were playing musical instruments in front yard of Radcliffe Avenue home and noise was unreasonable, 4:05 p.m. Band of youths was playing at reasonable volume, at reasonable time, and a respectable genre of music.
9/20 County Fire requested multiple ambulances for six-car collision, I-95 at Exit 21. EMS notified.
9/19 Complainant reported large group of teens in roadway, Central Avenue/US-1, 9:34 p.m. Spoke to group, dispersed.
9/19 Caller stated five 13-year-old males started fire in woods. Stated they were all still on scene, Crescent Avenue/Morehead Drive. Units, RFD dispatched.
9/18 Male observed on HQ camera running from front of Verizon store, Purchase Street/Purdy Avenue, 2:27 a.m. Was group of “intoxes” trying to get home to Larchmont. Taxi called.
9/17 Walk-in complainant, local property manager, wanted to document illegal dumping of paint thinner on his premises. Was not looking to pursue criminal charges.
9/17 Caller stated suspicious red SUV in Avon back parking lot had been there before. Party left premise without incident, advised not to return to private property.
